High-class Hillbillies

Well this isn't late at all, I meant for it to be up way, way after the Derby! >_> Anyway, this is a little something I did for the 138th running of the first leg of the Triple Crown. I wanted to try my Kentucky in a dress, but since she's so horrendously underdeveloped I figured I should have a few more to balance her out so here ya've got the lovely KYs from ~battyelf and =Alexander-Rowe! Thank you two so much!

I was trying out something different for my KY, thinking of making her a bit tanner. Still not sure about that, but I like the freckles. Her hair's still gonna be straight, but she does it up for the races. Plus it's in a braid most of the time. Also I think I like it lighter.

Can you tell where I just gave up? I was gonna have two sitting around and the other bringing drinks from behind, but then I realized a few things. a) I suck at drawing people sitting. b) I'm even worse at any kind of perspective whatsoever, and c) there wasn't enough room to make someone vertical. And I had to start the guys from the butt up, which is why their bodies are so damn huge compared to their heads.
Regardless, this was really fun to do, and I hope to get something up for the Preakness. Maybe not on time, but still.
